Please be informed that the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) is circulating an Industry Survey: Type of Supporting Documents to Prove Compliance with Article 3.18 (Transit and Transhipment) of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) to gather some feedback from the industry on the options preferred by Malaysian exporters in proving their compliance with Article 3.18 (Transit and Transhipment) of the CPTPP.

With reference to the attached email on the announcement from POIS Sdn Bhd, POIS will perform the activities on 17/11/2022 (Thursday) at 08.00 pm until 09.00 pm

Cyberjaya, 16 November 2022 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”), through wholly-owned subsidiary Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (“Dagang Net”), has signed a partnership agreement with Kale Logistics Solutions Private Limited (“Kale”) to introduce the Airport Cargo Community System (“ACS”) platform.

Reference is made to the attached announcement from Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) will enter into force for Malaysia on 29 November 2022. Malaysia will become the ninth country to implement the Agreement, joining the ranks of Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Viet Nam. The remaining Signatories, namely Brunei Darussalam and Chile, are still undertaking the necessary efforts to ratify the CPTPP.

Please be informed that the Government of Malaysia has submitted the Instrument of Ratification (IOR) for the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), to New Zealand, the CPTPP Depositary, on Friday, 30 September 2022. The Agreement will officially take effect for Malaysia on 29 November 2022.
