Please be informed that effective from 1 July 2025, the control mechanism for the importation of waste plastic (HS Code 3915) will shift from the issuance of Approved Permits by JPSPN to the Certificate of Approval (CoA) mechanism issued by SIRIM, as appointed by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).

Please be informed that due to a technical issue with Malaysia’s ASEAN Single Window (ASW) Gateway, the transmission and receipt of electronic Form D (e-Form D) under the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) has been disrupted since 8 June 2025.

Please be informed that the Building Services (Ancillary) Engineering Division will be conducting a Genset On-Load Test at the FCZ Building, KLIA, on Sunday, 15th June 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During this period, there will be no normal power supply for a duration of 1 hour. However, the essential power supply will be available within 10 seconds.

Please be informed that, based on information from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, the implementation of the updated tariff rates related to the expansion of the SST scope, which was originally scheduled for 1 June 2025, has been postponed.

The new tariff rates will now take effect on 1 July 2025 instead of 1 June 2025.

ANNOUNCEMENT: AANZFTA 2025 AND HS 2022

Please be informed that the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Information Technology Division) has announced that the proposed enforcement date for the Customs Duty Order under the ASEAN – Australia – New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA) 2025 is set for 17 June 2025.

Cyberjaya, 29 May 2025 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”) reported a revenue of RM296.8 million for the first quarter ended 31 March 2025 (“1QFY2025”), driven primarily by its Technology segment which contributed RM178.7 million, or 60% of the Group’s total revenue. This was followed by the Energy division which generated RM78.8 million, representing 27% of Group revenue; while the Information Technology (“IT”) segment contributed RM39.3 million, accounting for the remaining 13% of total revenue.

We are pleased to inform you that the earlier technical issues with the ePermit STA system have been resolved. All functions, including application submission and processing, are now operating normally.

Please be informed that the ePermit STA system is currently experiencing technical difficulties. As a result, users may encounter issues when submitting applications, and officers may face delays in processing and approving them.
