With reference to the attached email from Port Klang Authority (PKA), we are pleased to inform you of a scheduled service disruption to the eDCFZ system during the following dates and times:

I. Activity (Switch from Production Server to Disaster Recovery Server)
Date: Friday, 18th April 2025
Time: 8:00 PM
Expected Downtime: Approximately 3 hours

II. Activity (Switch from Disaster Recovery Server to Production Server)
Date: Saturday, 19th April 2025
Time: 1:00 AM
Expected Duration: Approximately 2 hours

What is ICS2 and how does it impact me?

The European Commission has mandated that all incoming imports via Maritime/Sea mode to the European Union (EU) are subject to mandatory advance risk and security assessment beginning 1st April 2025. In brief, a range of mandatory and more detailed information about the goods being transported will need to be electronically submitted in the ICS2 system in the form of a complete Entry Summary Declaration (ENS).

Please be informed that Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd will be carrying out a deployment activity for the MMSW. This will include updates to the Marine Department Arrival Module, along with improvements and fixes to the user interface (UI), as detailed below:

Time: 10:00 pm – 02:00 am
Duration: 4 hours
Affected Communities/Transactions: Malaysia Maritime Single Window (MMSW)

Please be informed that the intermittent technical issues affecting the National Single Window (NSW) system, as previously communicated, remain unresolved. Users may still experience disruptions or delays in accessing the following services:

In conjunction with the 2025 Eid Al-Fitr celebration, the ePCO and ePERMIT systems will be temporarily closed and will reopen for operation according to the schedule below:

MITI’S Office: Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Johor, Pahang, Kelantan, Melaka, Sabah and Sarawak
Date and Time of the System Closure: 29th March 2025 (Saturday) from 12.00 am until 3rd April 2025 (Thursday) 7.59 am
Date and Time of the System Resume Operation: 3rd April 2025 (Thursday) at 8.00 am
