ANNOUNCEMENT: FULL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MALAYSIA MARITIME SINGLE WINDOW (MMSW) SYSTEM AT PORT KLANG – UPDATES

Reference is made to the attached announcement from Port Klang Authority (PKA).

The announcement highlights issues with inaccurate vessel particulars submitted by Shipping Agents during the early stages of implementing MMSW for ship clearance. It warns that providing false information is an offense under multiple acts and regulations, including the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 and the Port Authorities Act 1963.
