ANNOUNCEMENT: IMPLEMENTATION OF MALAYSIA MARITIME SINGLE WINDOW (MMSW) SYSTEM AT MALAYSIAN PORTS AND JETTIES

Reference is made to the above subject and the attachment.

Please be informed that as per the directive by the Marine Department of Malaysia (MDM), the MMSW system will be implemented at the selected ports and private jetties starting from 26th May 2025. MMSW is promoted by the Government of Malaysia via the Ministry of Transport, with aims to streamline the arrival and departure clearance of vessels in compliance with the FAL Convention 1965 under the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to all ports and private jetties nationwide.

The implementation of the MMSW from 26th May 2025 onwards will cover the ports and private jetties in the states of Melaka, Perak and Negeri Sembilan. Please refer to the attached circular from MDM for further details.
