NOTIFICATIONS FROM THE ROYAL MALAYSIAN CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT – BUDGET 2027

Please be informed that, in conjunction with the Budget 2027 presentation, customs duty/tax payment and goods release will be temporarily suspended on:

Friday, 9 October 2026, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

This suspension applies to both immediate and normal clearance procedures, except for passenger baggage, personal belongings and perishable goods.

We encourage you to plan your customs clearance activities accordingly to minimise potential delays.

For further details, please refer to the attached circular issued by the Royal Malaysia Customs Department (RMCD).
