Cyberjaya, 24 June 2021 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”) has signed a memorandum of understanding (“MoU”) with Universiti Teknologi MARA (“UiTM”) for collaboration in the development and application of the latest technologies.

Under the MOU, DNeX and UiTM will collaborate in development in data analytics, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity through information and research personnel exchange as well as industry advisory services and education.

Both parties will also explore application of these technologies in key industries in Malaysia and create opportunities for further collaboration in such commercialisation efforts.

“We are pleased to formalise our partnership with UiTM in the areas of data analytics, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. We believe the partnership will benefit both parties as it can lead to new innovation and capabilities to meet industry demands,” said Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, Group Managing Director of DNeX.

He said, “We look forward to this partnership.
