NOTIFICATION : FINAL ISSUANCE OF FORM A GENERALIZED SYSTEM OF PREFERENCES (GSP) FOR EXPORTATION TO RUSSIA, BELARUS AND KAZAKHSTAN

Reference is made to the attached announcement. Effective on 12 October 2021, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) will no longer issue Form A GSP exportation to Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Pursuant to this, please be informed on the following important updates related to the application of Form A GSP (Russia, Belarus & Kazakhstan) via the ePCO System:

However, should goods arrived and registered with the Customs of Russia, Belarus or Kazakhstan on or before 11 October 2021, without the CO Form A, importer may obtain Preferential Treatment within 12 months from the date of importation. For this case Malaysia exporter may apply CO Form A by emailing the request to MITI.

Please note that tariff preferences for goods exported to the above countries will be granted subject to the acceptance of Form A GSP by the Customs of the importing country provided goods have arrived and registered with the Customs of Russia, Belarus or Kazakhstan on or before 11 October 2021.
