NOTIFICATION ON NUMBER OF CHARACTERS ALLOWED FOR IMPORTING HS CODE UNDER ATIGA FOR ASEAN SINGLE WINDOW (ASW)

Please refer to the attached official notification from MITI with regards to:

Number of characters allowed for Importing HS code under ATIGA for ASEAN Single Window (ASW) is only up to 10 characters.

The new changes will come into effect on 3 September 2018 and involves only ATIGA scheme as to accommodate e-FORM D ATIGA under ASW platform in accordance to Message Implementation Guide (MIG).

Thus, we seek your cooperation to ensure the changes are parallel with the information stated in the Letter of Credit (LC).

ANNOUNCEMENT: IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW CONTROL MECHANISM FOR THE IMPORTATION OF WASTE PLASTIC (HS CODE 3915)

Please be informed that effective from 1 July 2025, the control mechanism for the importation of waste plastic (HS Code 3915) will shift from the issuance of Approved Permits by JPSPN to the Certificate of Approval (CoA) mechanism issued by SIRIM, as appointed by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).

NOTIFICATION: INTERUPTION OF POWER SUPPLY DUE TO GENSET ON LOAD TEST AT FCZ BUILDING, KLIA

Please be informed that the Building Services (Ancillary) Engineering Division will be conducting a Genset On-Load Test at the FCZ Building, KLIA, on Sunday, 15th June 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During this period, there will be no normal power supply for a duration of 1 hour. However, the essential power supply will be available within 10 seconds.
