Cyberjaya, 3 September 2025 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (“Dagang Net”), has received a contract extension from the Government of Malaysia for the National Single Window (“NSW”) for Trade Facilitation, underscoring the government’s continued confidence in the company’s expertise and capabilities in digital trade infrastructure.

The extension comprises one year extension starting from 1 September 2025 with a further extension for an additional one year subject to a performance review, current needs, and mutual agreement.

Dagang Net has been the operator of the NSW for Trade Facilitation since its inception in 2009, playing a pivotal role in streamlining Malaysia's trade processes. The NSW for Trade Facilitation significantly contributes to the DNeX Group’s revenue, representing about eight % of the Group’s top line. For context, the Group’s audited revenue for the financial year ending 31 December 2024 stood at RM1.17 billion.

The NSW for Trade Facilitation serves as a vital one-stop system, seamlessly connecting the trading community with relevant Government agencies and various trade and logistics parties through a single, integrated interface. This expansive platform connects over 45,000 users, processes more than 100 million electronic transactions annually, and integrates with 36 Permit Issuing Agencies, 16 banks, and 167 Customs stations. Supported by 24/7 call centre services, the NSW for Trade Facilitation ensures exporters and importers can conduct their business efficiently anytime, anywhere.

Under this renewed contract, DNeX will continue to deliver six essential eServices of the NSW for Trade Facilitation: eDeclare, eManifest, ePCO, ePermit, ePermitSTA, and ePayment. These services are instrumental in optimising trade flows by providing a digital platform for seamless interactions among the trading community, Customs, and related agencies.

Faizal Sham Abu Mansor, Group Chief Executive Officer of DNeX, expressed the Group’s profound gratitude to the Government of Malaysia, particularly the Ministry of Finance and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, for their continued trust and partnership.

“This significant contract extension is a resounding testament to the Group’s unparalleled strength and capabilities in delivering innovative and efficient trade facilitation solutions,” he said, adding, “We remain steadfast in our commitment to exceeding our clients’ expectations by delivering eServices that empower businesses to optimise their operations and drive growth. With over 15 years of proven experience in building and maintaining this mission critical system, the Group has once again demonstrated its capability and reliability, and we are now poised to leverage this established track record to expand our offerings into other countries.”

“Since Dagang Net’s inception in 1989, we have continuously enhanced our solutions with additional features, modules, and value-added services to better facilitate export and import activities in Malaysia. Our eServices are developed, managed, and maintained by a dedicated team of energetic local talents, consistently achieving the required service level availability and agreements. We are also proud to be managing the ASEAN Single Window for Malaysia,” he said.

He further highlighted the company’s expanding portfolio, which extends beyond the NSW for Trade Facilitation, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of Phase 1 of the Malaysia Maritime Single Window (“MMSW”). The MMSW is a central platform designed to facilitate end-to-end information flow, serving as a one-stop portal with single sign-on and single submission capabilities for maritime regulatory and port services transactions at the national level.
