Cyberjaya, 11 March 2021 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”), through wholly-owned subsidiary company Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd, has received approval on the contract extension for the National Single Window (“NSW”) for Trade Facilitation from the Government of Malaysia

The contract extension is for a period of three years commencing from 1 September 2021 until 31 August 2024.

Under the contract extension, the company will continue to provide six core eServices of the NSW for Trade Facilitation namely eDeclare, eManifest, ePCO, ePermit, ePermitSTA, and ePayment in providing the trading community with connectivity to Customs and relevant agencies for import and export document processing. In addition, the company will also be providing services for the ASEAN Single Window.

Backed by over 30 years of experience in terms of knowledge, expertise and operational know-how in offering eServices for trade facilitation, the company has been the operator of the NSW for Trade Facilitation since its launch in 2009.

The NSW for Trade Facilitation has been a key contributor to DNeX’s financial performance, contributing a revenue of about RM90 million a year.

Such trade environment can help expedite cargo clearance process, reduce cost and time of doing business, and contribute positively to the country’s trade efficiency and global competitiveness.

The company, he said, is also expanding the offering of its trade facilitation eServices with the introduction of business-to-business (“B2B”) initiatives that can contribute to the country’s digital economy push.
