ANNOUNCEMENT: IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW SPECIAL TREATMENT CODE / NEW TRANSACTION TYPE FOR GOODS UNDER COMPREHENSIVE AND PROGRESSIVE AGREEMENT FOR TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP (CPTPP) - PDK 2022

Please be informed that the Royal Malaysian Customs Department will implement the CPTPP using PDK 2022 in the Sistem Maklumat Kastam (SMK) and the Authorize Economic Operator System (AEO). The implementation of this Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is expected to take effect on November 29, 2022.

Reference is made to the attached announcement from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (BTM).

Please be informed that the Royal Malaysian Customs Department will implement the CPTPP using PDK 2022 in the Sistem Maklumat Kastam (SMK) and the Authorize Economic Operator System (AEO). The implementation of this Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is expected to take effect on November 29, 2022.

We would like to announce that Dagang Net’s solution to submit CPTPP via system is ready. For business partners users, please contact your front-end vendors on the updates to cater the CPTPP to avoid any issues with regards to the implementation latest by 29 November 2022.

However, should your front-end is ready with the requirement, you may proceed with electronic submission for CPTPP declarations.
