ANNOUNCEMENT : IMPLEMENTATION OF CUSTOMS DUTY ORDER 2022 (PDK 2022)

This is to inform that the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) will be implementing Customs Duty Order 2022 (PDK 2022) from the current Customs Duty Order 2017 (PDK 2017) on 1 June 2022. Please refer to the attached implementation guide from RMCD Putrajaya.

This is to inform that the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) will be implementing Customs Duty Order 2022 (PDK 2022) from the current Customs Duty Order 2017 (PDK 2017) on 1 June 2022.

For further information and SOP on the above, please refer to the attached circular from RMCD Putrajaya (Information Technology Division).

Please liase with your respective front end solution provider that their front end application is ready to accommodate the requirement prior to the implementation date.

Please be informed that Malaysia has been experiencing a technical disruption at the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) Gateway due to B2Bi service issues in the production environment since 3rd February 2026. As a result, the transmission and receipt of electronic Form D (e-Form D) under the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) are temporarily unavailable. During this period, the Malaysian authority has reverted to the issuance of hardcopy Form D until further notice.
