ANNOUNCEMENT: AANZFTA 2025 AND HS 2022

Please be informed that the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Information Technology Division) has announced that the proposed enforcement date for the Customs Duty Order under the ASEAN - Australia - New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA) 2025 is set for 17 June 2025.

This implementation will also include a transition from the Harmonized Tariff Code (HS) 2017 to HS 2022.

In preparation for this, please take note of the following:

• Dagang Net has already notified its business partners to ensure their systems and solutions are ready to support this change and meet user requirements accordingly.
