Dagang Net receives contract extension
Dagang Net has recently received a contract extension to implement and operate the Port Klang Free Zone Integrated Management System for a year.
The Port Klang Free Zone Integrated Management System is a comprehensive and integrated Web-based system that serves as an automated platform for Port Klang Free Zone (“PKFZ”) to coordinate all efforts related to inflows and outflows of goods and containers, to and from the Free Zone area. The system automates necessary processes including declarations as well as booking and issuance of gate entry and exit passes for the movement of goods into and out of the area.
It is also integrated with CargoMove to enable hauliers to pre-book their visit to terminals or depots within the Free Zone area thus allowing the authority to manage traffic at their gates, reduce haulier waiting time, eliminate futile trips as well as gain real time tracking via mobile apps and GPS.
