Pre-Alert Manifest is now operational at two pilot sites namely Kuala Lumpur International Airport ("KLIA") and Penang since March and May, respectively. It is a fully integrated solution with an automated platform processing of common assessments and validation criteria to expedite air cargo processing and clearance. This eService allows for electronic air manifest submission, data standardisation for all international airports, automated reconciliation and query processes for Direct Release and K1.

It complements and is operable with existing Customs-related trade documentation processes and systems. Pre-Alert Manifest helps improve productivity, efficiency and turnaround time. In addition, it can expedite review and approval at Express Handling Unit ("EHU") while enhancing the level of risk management capability and monitoring of consignment of small imported goods comprising parcels, documents and letters with a total cost, insurance and freight ("CIF") value not exceeding RM500 per consignment.
