NOTIFICATION: VEHICLE DECLARATIONS IN K3
With reference to the above subject, following are the information that we received from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) personnel:
1. For K3 declarations involving vehicles, the current procedure is that 1 (one) vehicle per 1 (one) K3 declaration. This is due to the requirement for K3 information to be channelled to Road Transport Department Malaysia (JPJ) for monitoring purposes.
2. However, there is an allowance for declarations of multiple vehicles in 1 (one) K3 declaration for vehicle, specifically for manufacturers with unregistered vehicles, for the usage of Excise 7 only.
