NOTIFICATION : UPDATES ON NEW EPERMIT SERVICE – NACWC ENDORSEMENT LETTER

Reference made to the above subject.

This is to inform that there will be a new deployment activities for ePermit involving the NATIONAL AUTHORITY CHEMICAL WEAPONS CONVENTION (NACWC).

All applications for Endorsement Letters issued by NACWC will be online and take effect on 24 October 2022. Manual submission of applications will no longer be accepted after the relevant date. The use of this system also applies to traders of non-scheduled chemicals who require a confirmation from NACWC as determined by MITI as the issuer of scheduled and non-scheduled chemical import and export permits.

The deployment will take about four (4) hours of a scheduled downtime, therefore New Epermit LKIM (OLD), MITI-KPDNHEP & ePermit STA services accessible via https://newepermit.dagangnet.com.my/ & https://newsta.dagangnet.com.my/ will not be available on Monday, 24 October 2022, from 1800 hours to 2200 hours (6 pm – 10 pm).

To minimize disruption to your business operations, you are advised to:

1. Plan ahead on your activities and transactions.
2. Avoid any activities and submissions within two (2) hours prior to the downtime
3. Print all regulatory documents ahead of the downtime as access to the systems will not be available

In response to the ongoing issue, please be informed that all urgent shipments are to be processed in accordance with the manual SOP until further notice. This, however, remains subject to the discretion of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) and other relevant authorities.
