NOTIFICATION : TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MITI COUNTER SERVICES AT MENARA MITI AND STATE OFFICES DURING THE MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (MCO) PERIOD EFFECTIVE 30 MARCH 2020

Reference made to the attached announcement from Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). The service counter at Menara MITI and its state offices will be temporarily closed to public during the MCO period effective 30 March 2020.

The processing of Cost Analysis (CA) and Certificate of Origin (COO) will be done remotely through the ePCO system. The COO is valid up to 12 months from the date of issuance. As such, for scheme other than ATIGA, the endorsement can be done after the MCO period has been rescinded.

For ATIGA Form D, MITI has enforced the utilization of e-Form D effective 18 March 2020.
