For ALDEC users, you may start to download the latest ALDEC version on 15th March 2022 at http://sda.dagangnet.net/aldec/. For those who are using the front end system provided by Dagang Net’s business partners, you can check with your respective supplier for the latest version of the front end.

Attach is the email from Royal Malaysian Customs Department (BTM) where the submission of new Cargo Class Type for electric vehicle from the front end system to the Sistem Maklumat Kastam (SMK) is effective 15th March 2022 (Tuesday).

UPDATE: NOTIFICATION : NEW ADDITIONAL CARGO CLASS CODE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ENGINE CAPACITY (IN KWT) FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE IN ALL CUSTOMS DECLARATION MODULES (K1, K2, K3, K8 & K9)

Notice from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD), Ref No KE.HK(-)145/09-1Klt.24 (12) as per the attachment is referred.

RMCD is introducing a new Cargo Class type for Customs declarations involving electric vehicle/motor cycle. Details of the new Cargo Class type is as per the table below:

ANNOUNCEMENT: IMPLEMENTATION OF PRODUCT SPECIFIC RULES (PSR) UNDER AKFTA (HS 2022)
