NOTIFICATION : NEW EPERMIT SYSTEM FOR MAQIS/DAGANGAN TRANSIT (DT) – GO LIVE

Reference is made to our previous announcement on the above subject, dated 22nd July 2020. Please be noted that any transit activities are subject to the directive from the Director General of MAQIS, under the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Act 2011 (Act 728) and Regulations. Thus, company / agent must apply in writing to the Director General of MAQIS for approval before transit activities can be carried out.

Hence, to facilitate the transit approval procedure, the department will issue transit passes through the Dagangan Transit Module, which is available in the ePermit system. This module allows the agent / users who subscribes to all OGAs under MAQIS to submit the application for transit activities approval online.

Existing subscribers can apply for the transit / transhipment pass through https://newepermit2.dagangnet.com.my/epermit/html/login. This implementation will commence from 20th November 2020 (Friday). For new users, you must register with Dagang Net for the first time and users are also reminded to submit an application in writing to the Director General of MAQIS as prerequisite before applying for a transit pass (ePermit).

For commodity selection, the company / agent must select the Commodity of Agriculture Products only until there is a new notification from the department at later stage. These agriculture commodities include all agriculture products such as plants/plant products, animal/animal products, as well as fish/fish products and so on.

NOTIFICATION : NEW EPERMIT SYSTEM FOR MAQIS/DAGANGAN TRANSIT (DT)

Reference made to the above subject, where this is to inform that there will be a new deployment for MAQIS to proceed with Pilot Implementation Module Dagangan Transit at selected Entry/Exit station.

During these four (4) hours schedule downtime, New Epermit System https://newepermit.dagangnet.com.my shall not be available from : 24 July 2020 (08:30hours to 12:30hours) which will also affected LPF, DOA, MAQIS, JPK, JAS, PDRM & JIM modules.

As for iMAQIS, there will be minimal downtime from : 24 July 2020 (09:30hours to 11:30hours).

To minimize disruption to your business operations, you are advised to plan ahead your activities and transactions.
