NOTIFICATION : INSTRUCTION TO SUBMIT A LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION TO CARRY OUT THE TRANSIT / TRANSHIPMENT ACTIVITIES FROM COMPANY (COUNTRY OF ORIGIN) FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS VIA MALAYSIA

Reference made to the attached announcement from Department of Malaysia Quarantine and Inspection Services (MAQIS). Please be informed that for any transit or transhipment activities via our country there is a requirement for Country of Origin to submit a permission letter effective 3 April 2020.

For agents whom usually apply on behalf on Country of Origin need to produce below documents:

I.      Letter of application from the Forwarding Agent / Association Member.
II.    Letter of application from Company (Country of Origin).
III.   Schedule / tentative transit frequency
IV.   Supporting Documents

  • Bill of Lading
  • Invoice
  • Packing List
  • K8, etc
