NOTIFICATION : IMPLEMENTATION OF CUSTOMS DUTY ORDER 2020 FOR AKFTA

that Royal Malaysian Customs Department will be implemented new tariff code for ASEAN KOREA FTA (AKFTA) from its existing HS Customs Duty Order (PDK 2007 & AHTN 2012) to Customs Duty Order (PDK 2017 – 10 digits) on 1 August 2020.

NOTIFICATION : IMPLEMENTATION OF CUSTOMS DUTY ORDER 2020 FOR AKFTA

Reference made to the above subject, where this is to inform that Royal Malaysian Customs Department will be implemented new tariff code for ASEAN KOREA FTA (AKFTA) from its existing HS Customs Duty Order (PDK 2007 & AHTN 2012) to Customs Duty Order (PDK 2017 – 10 digits) on 1 August 2020.

All Customs 1 (K1) and Customs 9 (K9) under Transaction Type – S (Importation with Preferential Tariff) must enter proper Special Treatment Code “7” for AKFTA.

Please refer to the attached P.U. (A) 202 for further details on code and tariff.
