NOTIFICATION FROM JABATAN KASTAM DIRAJA MALAYSIA – CANCELLATION OF TRANSACTION TYPE (FD) ON RTV TRADE / IMPORTATION INTO DUTY-FREE ISLAND.

The trade / importation of cigarettes, tobacco products, electronic and non-electronic cigarette devices including vape and nicotine-free liquids / gels used in electronic cigarettes (RTV) in all Duty Free Islands (PBC) and Free Zone (Retail Business) will be subject to duty / tax from 1st January 2021 (Friday). This is following the announcement during Malaysia Budget 2021 by the Minister of Finance on 6 November 2020
