NOTIFICATION: CANCELLATION OF AUTO-APPROVAL FOR CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (CO) APPLICATIONS

Please be informed that effective 11 August 2025, the auto-approval process for Certificate of Origin (CO) applications will be discontinued to enhance the accuracy and completeness of the information submitted, ensure compliance with ROO requirements, and reduce the likelihood of queries or rejections by importing authorities.

NOTIFICATION: INTERRUPTION OF POWER SUPPLY AT CUSTOM 11KV SUBSTATION (CUS), KLIA

Please be informed that the EPS Engineering Division will be carrying out corrective maintenance works for the TX at the Custom 11kV Substation (CUS), FCZ Building, KLIA, on Sunday, 17 May 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In conjunction with the 2026 Eid Al-Adha celebration, the ePCO and ePERMIT systems under MITI will be temporarily closed and will resume operations according to the schedule below: Date of The Eid Al-Adha: 27 May 2026 (Wednesday) MITI’s Office: Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Johor, Pahang, Kelantan, Melaka, Sabah and Sarawak Date and Time of The System Closure: 27 May 2026 (Wednesday) from 12.00 am until 29 May 2026 (Friday) 7.59 am Date and Time of The System Resume Operation: 29 May 2026 (Friday) at 8.00 am

ANNOUNCEMENT: IMPLEMENTATION OF PRODUCT SPECIFIC RULES (PSR) UNDER AKFTA (HS 2022)

Please be informed that the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) will implement the updated Product Specific Rules (PSR) under the ASEAN–Korea Free Trade Area (AKFTA), in line with the transition from HS 2017 to HS 2022, effective 1 May 2026.
