Cyberjaya, 2 February 2023 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad’s (“DNeX”) subsidiary Innovation Associates Consulting Sdn Bhd (“IAC”) has bagged a maintenance contract from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (“IRBM”).

Under the contract, IAC will be responsible for the application and software maintenance of Malaysia Hasil Integrated Taxation Systems (“HITS”). The one-year contract, valued at RM4.05 million, is expected to commence in February 2023 and be operationalised at IRBM’s headquarters in Cyberjaya.

Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, Executive Chairman of DNeX, said the contract is a testament to IAC’s capabilities with a comprehensive range of information technology (“IT”) project management services, leveraging on cutting-edge technologies to help organisations transform, optimise and enhance their operations.

He said the maintenance contract for HITS can further position DNeX on a better footing and reinforce the company’s technology consulting and system integration arm via IAC to expand our digital capabilities in pursuit of becoming a top regional digital transformation player.

“We can assist our clients in aligning strategic business missions with their practices by leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data analytics, backed by our in-house online and on-site certified technical support technicians as a value-added customer experience,” he added.

The maintenance contract with IRBM’s HITS can further extend IAC’s capabilities in the deployment and maintaining a complex system developed using a low-code application development platform.

In addition, the company will continue to develop its capabilities while aggressively expanding its market share for new projects in the public and private sectors locally and overseas. IAC has extensive experience in delivering complex projects in the areas of Next-generation Enterprise Resource Planning solutions, Cloud Application and Migration Services as well as Consulting and Digital Capability.
