Kuala Lumpur, 31 May 2016 – Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”) – has been named the recipient of the Industry Excellence Award in the E-Commerce category at the ASEAN Business Awards Malaysia 2016.

The award has been conferred to Dagang Net in recognition of the company’s performance and achievements in the sector. Dagang Net’s Executive Chairman Datuk Samsul Husin received the award on behalf of the company at a Gala Dinner held in Kuala Lumpur and scheduled to be officiated by Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak.

“We would like to express our sincere and deepest gratitude to ASEAN Business Awards Malaysia 2016 namely its organiser the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Malaysia for this honour,” said Datuk Samsul, who is also Executive Deputy Chairman of DNeX.

Dagang Net’s achievements and accomplishments, according to him, are attributed to effective teamwork among staff who are driven by a collective vision, mission and core values diligently nurtured within DNeX Group.

Dagang Net has pioneered and spearheaded initiatives aimed at creating paper-less, electronic Customs-related services to ease facilitation and streamlining of trade processes.

“This is certainly a most welcome surprise for us. With our wealth of knowledge, expertise and operational know-how in the provisioning of e-commerce services for Trade Facilitation accumulated from more than 25 years of experience, we will continue to contribute to this sector, and efforts in increasing competitiveness of the country as a trading nation,” Datuk Samsul added.
