Kuala Lumpur, 5 April 2018 – Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dagang NeXchange Berhad ("DNeX"), has launched AIIVA, a Web-based Halal Logistics Management System ("HLMS").

AIIVA is aimed to secure Halal integrity in the flow and storage of goods, services and related components from the point of origin to consumption.

It is a Web-based solution that provides tracking and monitoring of Halal consignment through a Single Access Point of Halal logistics services, and also provides connectivity to Halal logistics services companies here and abroad. The Halal integrity is monitored in accordance to Halal Assurance System Flow and Halalan Toyyiban Assurance Pipeline standard.

AIIVA was launched in Kuala Lumpur today by Dato’ Dr Sirajuddin Suhaimee, Director of Halal Hub Division at the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia ("JAKIM") in conjunction with Malaysia International Halal Showcase ("MIHAS") 2018.

Accessible at www.aiiva.com.my, AIIVA is targeted at businesses in the Halal eco-system comprising manufacturers, producers, exporters, and importers as well as those involved in such process as procurement, transport, warehouse storage, handling and terminal operations.

"Halal logistics - which aims to ensure Halal integrity of goods and products from the perspective of their movement - is readily an attractive proposition to the global Halal consumers," said Datuk Samsul Husin, who is Executive Deputy Chairman of DNeX and also Executive Chairman of Dagang Net.

"We are very excited to introduce AIIVA to the Halal industry that has vast opportunities with a global Muslim population of more than 1.8 billion, and spread across the world. These opportunities can only grow as the concept of Halal takes on a stronger foothold," he added.

Since it is Web-based, AIIVA is easy to work with anytime and anywhere that has Internet connection. With Data Reusability, submission and verification with converged business processes are simplified without repeated data entry throughout the entire trade process.

Through AIIVA’s Dashboard Reporting, users can generate reports with back-end access to logistics process and data submissions, and with its Track & Trace, users can monitor Halal Certification statuses from service providers in the logistics chain, and track statuses of process, approval and cargo movement in real time.
