ANNOUNCEMENT: UPDATE ON FREIGHT FORWARDER CODE VALIDATION FOR MANIFEST (SEA)

Please be informed that effective 12th February 2025, a new validation for the use of Freight Forwarder (FF) Codes will be introduced in the Manifest process for House Bill of Lading (HBL) entries.

ANNOUNCEMENT: UPDATE ON FREIGHT FORWARDER CODE VALIDATION FOR MANIFEST (SEA)

Please be informed that effective 12th February 2025, a new validation for the use of Freight Forwarder (FF) Codes will be introduced in the Manifest process for House Bill of Lading (HBL) entries.

Please ensure the following:

• The correct Freight Forwarder (FF) Code must be entered in the designated field.
• The Shipping Agent (SA) Code should not be used in freight forwarders field.

If the Freight Forwarder Code is missing or incorrect, the system will display the following error message:

To avoid disruptions, users are advised to contact their front-end provider to confirm that the system is configured to accommodate these changes.
