ANNOUNCEMENT: POSTPONEMENT OF IMPLEMENTATION OF PDK MY-UAE CEPA 2025 – FRONT END SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Further to our earlier announcement (Ref No: DNT/NSW/RMCD/20250728-001) dated 28 July 2025.

Please be informed that the implementation of the Customs Duties Order (PDK MY-UAE CEPA 2025), initially scheduled for 1 September 2025, has been rescheduled to 1 October 2025.

ANNOUNCEMENT: IMPLEMENTATION OF PDK MY-UAE CEPA 2025 – FRONT END SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Please be informed that the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) will implement the Customs Duties Order (Goods under the Malaysia–United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, PDK MY-UAE CEPA 2025) effective 1 September 2025.

The front-end system will be updated to align with the following requirements:

1. PDK MY-UAE CEPA will use HS2022 (10-digit tariff codes) starting 1 September 2025 for declarations involving K1, and K9 forms.

2. For import declarations using transaction type 'S' (Import with Preferential Tariff), the system must ensure correct tariff code usage according to the table below:
