ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE ISSUANCE OF PREFERENTIAL CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (PCO) STATUS UNDER MTFTA

Reference is made to the attached announcement from Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).

Any request for preferential treatment under Malaysia Türkiye Free Trade Agreement (MTFTA) scheme to the Customs authority of the Republic of Türkiye shall be accompanied by Preferential Certificate of Origin (PCO) issued by MITI. Traders/exporters who wish to benefit from MTFTA, may submit their Cost Analysis (CA) and Certificate of Origin (CO) applications through the ePCO system.

Please be informed that Malaysia is yet authorised any exporter under the MTFTA scheme to become the “Approved Exporter” under MTFTA. Any development on this matter will be informed later.
