ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE DECLARATION OF AHTN 2022 FOR THE APPLICATION OF ATIGA COST ANALYSIS AND PROOF OF ORIGIN

Reference is made to the attached announcement from Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

Please to inform that the implementation of ATIGA Product Specific Rules (PSR) ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN) 2022 (i.e., for the purposes of exports) will enter into force for Malaysia on 10 April 2023. Pursuant to this, the ATIGA Cost Analysis and Proof of Origin applications through ePCO System will indicate AHTN 2022.

All ATIGA Cost Analysis that have been approved before 10 April 2023 remain valid and exporters may continue to utilize it until 31 December 2023.

NOTIFICATION: IMPLEMENTATION OF CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN UNDER AANZFTA SECOND PROTOCOL

Please be informed that under the Second Protocol of the ASEAN–Australia–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA), exporters are now allowed to print the Certificate of Origin (CO) directly from the ePCO system using A4-sized white paper.
