ANNOUNCEMENT : ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE REGIONAL COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP FOR THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON 2 JANUARY 2023

Reference is made to the attached announcement from Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

MITI informed that the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) will enter into force for the Republic of Indonesia on 2 January 2023, where Indonesia will join the twelve other signatory countries that have completed the ratification process.

Please take note on the following with regards to the enforcement:

1. All procedures of applying for the RCEP remains the same as prior announcement.
2. RCEP form has to be printed on ISO A4 size white paper and along with Overleaf Notes at the back of each page.
3. All approved preferential certificate of origin (PCO) for this scheme had implemented an electronically affixed signature and official seal. Exporter shall endorse and submit a copy of PCO to MITI or nearest MITI Regional office on a monthly basis.
