Reference is made to the attached announcement from Department of Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services (MAQIS).

Please be informed that the exportation of the arowana fish of the species Scleropages Formosus can only be done through three (3) points of exit namely Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Senai International Airport (LTAS) and Penang International Airport (LTAPP) effective from 1st August 2023.

Please be informed that Malaysia has been experiencing a technical disruption at the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) Gateway due to B2Bi service issues in the production environment since 3rd February 2026. As a result, the transmission and receipt of electronic Form D (e-Form D) under the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) are temporarily unavailable. During this period, the Malaysian authority has reverted to the issuance of hardcopy Form D until further notice.
