AMENDMENT:  IMPOSITION OF GOODS AND SERVICES TAX AT ZERO RATED EFFECTIVE FROM 1 JUNE 2018

Please refer to the attached official notification from Royal Malaysian Customs Department with regards to amendment of Implementation of GST rate changes from Standard Rate (6%) to Zero Rate (0%) effective 1 June 2018.

Kindly apply the above rate change as determined by the Ministry of Finance in the system of declaration.

Please be informed that for any declarations made prior 01 June 2018 and received status “approved” is subject to GST (6%), although payment is made after or on the date itself.
