Executive Chairman


Datuk Samsul Husin is Executive Chairman of Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (Dagang Net). He is also currently Executive Deputy Chairman of Dagang NeXchange Berhad (DNeX), which is the parent company of Dagang Net.

He has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and IT specialising in financial systems, system planning and designing. His areas of specialty also include system computerisation namely simplifying decision support systems, public sector accounting for statutory bodies, change management and project management.

He started his career in 1986 with Selangor State Secretary Housing Division and later served as a lecturer at the Malaysian Entrepreneur Development Centre, Universiti Teknologi MARA.

He then joined the private sector in 2002 to hold positions in financial-cum-portfolio management arena before joining Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Censof Holdings Berhad (Censof), which is involved in the design, development, implementation and marketing of financial management solutions. He led the development and transformation of Censof into a public-listed company in 2011.

In 2013, he led Censof in acquiring a 45.03 per cent controlling interest of DNeX (then known as Time Engineering Berhad) from Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the strategic investment fund of the Government of Malaysia. He also sits on the Boards of Censof and Ping Petroleum Limited.

Datuk Samsul has received several awards in recognition of his accomplishments including being named “Ikon Usahawan BCPLC 2014-2105” by Ikon PLC Bumiputera, a Malaysian business publication, based on his achievements in leading two public listed companies namely DNeX and Censof.

He also received the Technopreneur Excellence Award 2011 from the National ICT Association of Malaysia (PIKOM). The award is presented to an outstanding ICT entrepreneur based on such criteria as revenue growth, leadership in new product introduction and innovation, investments in R&D and customer adoption or success of the application or product. He graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner.



Ameer Shaik Mydin is Director of Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (Dagang Net). He is also Managing Director of Censof Holdings Berhad (Censof) and leads the team at Censof subsidiary company, T-Melmax Sdn Bhd.

He has over 23 years of experience in business management and development, sales and marketing of software and hardware related solutions. Ameer is well-versed with solutions such as Retail Banking System, Wholesale Banking System, Ross Systems Financial accounting Solution, Imaging solutions, Workflow solutions and also other various hardware systems such as Wang, DEC and Sun. He also possesses hands-on know-how in managing Value Added Resellers (VAR) involved in products from a myriad of industries and verticals.

A graduate of the University of Malaya, Ameer started his career at PanGlobal Sistemaju Sdn Bhd where he undertook the portfolio of sales and marketing of Wang Banking System, which was targeted at the Malaysian banking sector. His vast career has also spanned areas of management of Channels Business, including Management positions with companies such as Kumpulan Netband (MSC) Sdn Bhd. and IT System Implementers Sdn Bhd. His experience in managing both the public and commercial sectors has made him an invaluable asset when he first joined the Censof Group, as Business Manager for the public sector market at Century Software (M) Sdn. Bhd.



Tamil Selvan A/L M. Durairaj is Director of Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (Dagang Net). He is also currently Executive Director of Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Censof Holdings Berhad. 

With over 26 years of experience in business consulting and financial applications implementations across a myriad of industries, Tamil Selvan specialises in Financial Management and Cost Accounting for both the public and private sectors. This specialisation, coupled with a strong financial analytical skill and vast experience in implementation of various financial management systems in medium to large agencies and corporations, has led his team of financial consultants, IT professionals and accountants to plenty of successful implementation and delivery of all projects of the company.

Tamil Selvan qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in 1984, whilst employed as an Accountant and Administrator in a large co-operative. In 1987, he joined the Accountant General’s Office as the Treasury Accountant, before leaving the public sector in 1990 to take up a position as a Consulting Manager in a subsidiary of a large public listed media and communications company. In 1993, he joined KPMG Peat Marwick Consulting Sdn. Bhd. before coming on-board Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd in 1995.



Datuk Osman Percy King Jones @ Abu Bakar is Director of Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (Dagang Net). He is also Managing Director of Almatab Sdn Bhd, a company with involvement in construction operations and management.

Datuk Osman was Secretary General of the Malay Contractors Association of Malaysia from 2004 to 2010 and previously, Treasure General from 1999 to 2004. He was responsible to head administration of the association with 15,000 members nationwide, liaising with relevant government agencies and ministries, attending meetings with Ministers and senior government officials as well as charting way forward for members of the association to be prepared to face challenges in the industry. He was responsible in introducing information technology to replace conventional methods of project management and monitoring system.

He was also director of Construction Labour Exchange Centre Berhad (CLAB) from 2005 to 2011.
