DNeX reaches CSR milestone by hosting Muzik4Humanity benefit concert

Dagang NeXchange Berhad ("DNeX"), the holding company of Dagang Net, hosted its Muzik4Humanity benefit concert to raise funds for children affected by conflict who are in need of basic care, the company's first such endeavour in terms of scale and reach.

The benefit concert, held for a two-nightly performance on 17 & 18 March 2017 at Panggung Sari Istana Budaya Kuala Lumpur, is organised in collaboration with MERCY Malaysia. Proceeds from the benefit concert will be channelled to MERCY's Little Caliph programme in Kandahar, Afghanistan that facilitates provision of nutritional food and education for children affected by conflict.

Muzik4Humanity benefit concert by DNeX has successfully assembled well known local artistes namely Dato' Khatijah Ibrahim, Datuk Ramli Sarip, Dato Hattan and Jaclyn Victor to perform under music direction of notable composer Rudi Muhammad, also known as composer Kunci Demak.

"We are truly humbled by the response, cooperation and camaraderie among all involved to make this benefit concert happen from the performing artistes, our partners, our sponsors, and our own staff - who are all focused towards contributing to this cause," said Datuk Samsul Husin, Executive Chairman of Dagang Net.

"Muzik4Humanity benefit concert is not only aligned to our corporate social responsibility ("CSR") targeted at underprivileged communities especially through educational programmes, it can also extend the reach thus marking a milestone in our CSR efforts," he added.
