Welcome to the first issue of DagangNetPOST for the year.
2019 was indeed a memorable year for us as we achieved several key milestones. One of the bigger news for us last year was receiving the contract extension from the Government of Malaysia for the National Single Window ("NSW") for Trade Facilitation.
Dagang Net has been the operator of the NSW for Trade Facilitation since its launch in 2009 and we view this as continued confidence in our services.
We also hosted the 60th Pan-Asian e-Commerce Alliance ("PAA") Meeting which took place in Cyberjaya from 12 to 13 November 2019. The last time Dagang Net hosted this event was in 2015.
Hosting the PAA Meeting last year was even more special because we were celebrating Dagang Net's 30th birthday. This year, Dagang Net's parent company - Dagang NeXchange Berhad ("DNeX") - turns 50.
Since established in 1989, Dagang Net has spearheaded initiatives aimed at creating and integrating paper-less, electronic Customs-related services to ease facilitation and streamlining of trade processes.
Over the years, we have managed to grow by leaps and bounds accumulating relevant knowledge, expertise and operational know-how in offering eServices for Trade Facilitation.
Reminiscing and celebrating our fete are important but what is even more important is for us to chart our way moving forward to offer top notch eServices for customers.
We remain committed to provide eServices that not only meet requirements of customers but also offer value that can help customers further improve their operations and grow their business.
Furthermore, we are committed to serve as a technology partner for customers in their journey in digital transformation resulting from digitalisation affecting various segments in the economy.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to all our customers and stakeholders who have been with us for the past 30 years and we hope our relationship will continue to grow and expand in future years.
