Zaiviji Ismail was appointed as the Chairman of the Company on 9 January 2013.
Zaiviji holds a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield Institute of Technology, England. He has vast management experience providing fiscal, strategic and operational leadership in challenging situations. He started his career with Bank Negara Malaysia from 1979 to 1983 and later joined Malaysia Building Society Berhad in 1984 to 1989.
Zaiviji joined Shell Malaysia and had served in various positions in Malaysia for a period from 1990 to 2001. He was then cross-posted to Oman to be the General Manager of the Retail Business in Shell Oman Marketing in October 2001 to January 2004. In February 2004, he was again cross-posted to Pakistan to be the General Manager of the Retail Business in Shell Pakistan Limited before taking on the Cluster General Manager's role for both Oman and Pakistan. In August 2006, he was appointed Managing Director of Shell Pakistan Limited and at the same time was named the Chairman of Shell Companies in Pakistan.
From August 2006 and July 2011, Zaiviji sat on various Boards in Pakistan and one in Oman covering the energy, health and education sectors. This includes 4 public listed companies. Zaiviji also served as the President of the Petroleum Institute of Pakistan from 2010 to June 2011.
In October 2010, Zaiviji won Pakistan's 1st Global CEO Excellence Award.
Zaiviji is the Executive Committee Chairman of TIME Engineering Berhad and also sits on the Board of UEM Group Berhad, Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad and PLUS International Expressways Berhad and the Chairman of Uniquest Infra Ventures Private Limited, a Joint Venture Company between Khazanah Nasional Berhad and IDFC of India.
Aged 56, a Malaysian, was appointed as a Director of the Company on 1 January 2002. She holds a Master of Science in System Software Technology from University of Sheffield, Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Operational Research from University of Manchester, UK and Diploma in System Analyst from UiTM. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer of TH Computers Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of Lembaga Tabung Haji. Prior to her current role, she was the General Manager of Information Technology Division of Lembaga Tabung Haji.
Aged 74, a Malaysian, was appointed as a Director of the Company on 6 November 2009. He is also the Audit Committee Chairman of TIME Engineering Berhad. He is a mining engineer, graduated from the Camborne School of Metalliferous Mining, United Kingdom.
He has over 35 years experience in the mining tin industry and related activities, having held various positions in the Osborne & Chappel Group of Companies, which were involved in mine management and consultancy both locally and at international level. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, United Kingdom and Fellow of the Institution of Mineral Engineers Malaysia. He is also a registered Professional Engineer (Mining) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, a council member of the Malaysian Chamber of Mines and the Tin Industry (Research and Development) Board.
He is currently the Executive Chairman of Osborne & Chappel International Sdn Bhd and the Non-Executive Chairman of Ireka Corporation Berhad and also sits on the Board of Gopeng Berhad and several other private limited companies.
Aged 61, a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board of the Company on 9 January 2008. He is a graduate of Universiti Sains Malaysia and also a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, University of Tufts, USA where he obtained his MA in International Relations.
In year 2000, he was appointed as the first Malaysian Ambassador to the UAE. Prior to that, he was the Consul General of Malaysia in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and at the same time holding the post as Deputy Permanent Representative to the OIC Secretariat in Jeddah. He also served as Deputy Head of Mission in Moscow, Russia and accredited to the CIS Republics.
He holds senior posts in corporate world among others being the Director of the Malaysia Pacific Corporation Berhad, Chairman of Flexoffice Sdn Bhd, Chairman of Axisjaya Holding, Secretary General of National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Malaysia (NCCIM) & Council Member of Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Elakumari Kantilal was appointed as a Director of the Company on 17 January 2013.
She holds an MSc.(Accounting and Finance) from the University of East Anglia and a Bachelor of Accounting from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Elakumari started her career in the government sector in 1981 and held various positions within the sector namely Accountant General's Office, Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Finance. She is currently the Director of Investments in Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
She also sits on the Board of TIME Engineering Berhad (TEB), TIME dotCom Berhad, Faber Group Berhad and several other private limited companies.
Aged 51, a Malaysian, was appointed as a Director of the Company on 17 August 2009. He holds a B. Sc (Hons.) from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad. Prior to his current role, he was the former Chief Information Officer of Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad and also the General Manager Technology for EPIC-I. He has over 25 years of experience of IT in banking. Mr Ryan is also an alternate director for Malaysian Electronic Payment System Sdn Bhd.
